43/52 {the daddy edition}

{Harper} He is your rough-housing playmate, the one who you make pizza bases with, who holds you when you become overwhelmed, the one who calls you Harper May. You are his little helper, the source of a lot of his laughter, and the one who will always be his little girl.

 {Finn} He is your lego building buddy, the one who talks science with you and answers your questions with thought and care, the one who encourages you to do things that are outside your comfort zone and reassures you when things don't work out. You are the one he loves taking to school and seeing what takes your interest when you enter your classroom, the one he gets up to in the middle of the night and whispers "it was just a bad dream, it's not real finny". You're the one who laughs at his Dad's jokes and misses him when he is at work. You're his little buddy, always.

The B-sides (because two photos seems a little minimalist for me)

{my summer baby, flashing her sunny smile}

    1. Lots of early evening fun around here, hence why most of this week's shot have the kids in their pjs! I promise they do wear normal day clothes too ;)

  2. LOL, I was thinking your children seemed to be in their PJ's a lot! ;)

    Amber, most kids have daddies. Some of them have wonderful, sensitive, involved daddies, and some don't have daddies at all :( Treasure that man of yours.

    Some great pictures this week. Especially love the ones of Harper 'face painting' and being sprayed by the hose.

    1. Yes, I thought I better clarify the pj issue ;)
      I really do treasure Lachie and I know exactly what you are saying Tarnya, we are very lucky. My heart aches for children who don't have what my two have. xx
