Some one on one time with Finn this morning. A thickshake for Finn and a coffee for me, and a great discussion about skyscrapers.

Documenting Delight: Day seventy six
Miss H, today was a hard day. I think you may be a little unwell or maybe you are just doing what toddlers do? My paper thin patience today was only saved by the knowledge that the weekend was within sight. We read stories together on your bed in the afternoon but you didn’t last long on my lap. You wanted to be alone. Finn and I gave you space. I came back to find you reading to yourself, making up the story as you flicked the pages. Peaceful, quiet and content.

Documenting Delight: Day seventy five {parent helper day}
Today I was rostered on as a parent helper at Finn’s Playschool. I took inspiration from fellow Documenting Delighter, Tricia (check out her blog here. This lady has serious talent.) and took my camera along to document my little guy in his learning environment. Of coarse Harper came along too and joined in with all the play and craft activities, just like she was one of the regular students. It’s killing her that she still has 10 months to go until she can attend Playschool.
After Finn’s rocky year at Playschool last year I had many stop- me- in- my- tracks- proud -Mummy -moments while watching my lovely boy today. He oozed confidence and looked fully engaged at every stage throughout the day. Can't ask for more than that.

Documenting Delight: Day seventy two
Ah public holidays how I love thee.
An extra day with my loves.
I’m too relaxed to write much tonight, pictures from our morning by the lake will have to do.

Documenting Delight: Day seventy one {this smile}
Today I was feeling a little left out, a bit insignificant. I can easily escape into negative thoughts and today I was in danger of doing just that. I worked hard to turn my thoughts around, to look for good and to aim to do good myself but more than anything I did, this smile bought me back. This smile gets me every time. I am blessed. I am loved. I am worthy.
