A simple Easter Sunday with my little family. Call us mean (oh, go on!) but Lachie and I made the decision to ease back on the chocolate this year. Not so much Finn, but sugar makes our little wild child, a bit more wild. So this year we gave them a new cup each, with three little eggs in them. They seemed chuffed with this, although Finn was utterly confused by his cup that read ‘early bird’. We reassured him it was apt.

We were the same with Avie, we brought her a little bunny basket with one egg since our family gave her alot. It's not fair on them having so much sugar and Avie throws a fair few more tantrums with sugar. So more for her mama. lol is that mean?!

you know we are meanies too! :) these pics are adorable and to be honest - i get so much pleasure seeing your children cherish that adorable mug and savour those 3 eggs than seeing kids going bonkers w massive amounts of choc! i bet they didnt miss a thing and in fact appreciated what they had even more! good job xx
ReplyDeleteAfter witnessing some of the sugar tanties that our friends kids had yesterday I have to say that I'll be following your lead as well! It seems that it is a day people unnecessarily overindulge (says she who just ate 4 mini Lindt easter bunnies, and a couple of Lindt carrots)....
