Documenting Delight: day three hundred and nine {make up one on one time}

After cancelling yesterday’s Mummy + Finn time due to sickness, some time was set aside to make it up to my very patient boy. The destination was his choice and he went with his old favourite, a train ride out to the country town Bungendore. He’s very patient and also very predictable too.

Finn talked non-stop during the 40 minute ride. We covered cement factories, how tunnels are made and the purpose of foot stools.

Finn, you are a joy to be with and talk to. Your mind amazes me and your appreciation for simple moments grounds me. xx

{"mummy? can i do star jumps while you take my picture?" "yes you can my love, yes you can"}

  3. Looks like you had a great day. That first shot is so interesting, with all of the intersecting lines and different textures, and of course that sweet look from your bubba.

    1. He does look crazy-tall in these pics hey? Someone saw him at the library today and was commenting on how much he has grown. Funny, as parents we don't really notice their growth spurts??!!
